Experience changes
how you listen.
After decades of clinical work, I have learned that meaningful therapy rarely comes from a formula. It comes from paying close attention—to what is being said, what is being avoided, and the patterns that keep finding their way back into a person's life.

Therapy should be a conversation that goes somewhere.
My approach is active, thoughtful, and collaborative. I listen carefully, but I am not a silent observer. When I notice a pattern, contradiction, or possibility that may matter, I will bring it into the room.
I also do not believe every difficult human experience needs to be reduced to a diagnosis. Diagnosis can be clinically useful, but it is not the whole person. Our work is about understanding what is happening in the context of your life and deciding what, if anything, needs to change.
Depth without losing sight of real life.
People often come to therapy carrying more than one problem. Work stress can affect a relationship. Anxiety can become exhaustion. A major transition can bring questions about identity, family, purpose, or what comes next.
Long clinical experience has taught me to tolerate that complexity rather than rush to simplify it. We can look closely at the immediate problem while also paying attention to the larger story around it.
The goal is not endless analysis. Insight matters most when it begins to change the way you understand yourself, make decisions, communicate, set boundaries, and move through your everyday life.

My clinical work draws from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and other evidence-informed approaches. I use frameworks as tools rather than forcing every person into the same treatment formula.
The Prem Practice is a private-pay telehealth practice serving adults who are physically located in jurisdictions where I am authorized to practice at the time of the session.
Specific licensure and jurisdiction information will be maintained separately so that it remains current as the practice grows.
You don't need to perform in therapy.
You can arrive uncertain, frustrated, skeptical, overwhelmed, or simply curious about why something in your life keeps feeling harder than it should. We can begin there.
